Privacy Policy – WędzeniePro
1. General information
WędzeniePro is a mobile application for planning smoking sessions, using recipes, calculators and monitoring Live sessions. This policy describes what data the application processes on your device, what may be sent to the WędzeniePro server and which external services are used.
The application does not require creating a user account.
2. Data stored locally
The following may be stored on the device, among others:
- application settings (e.g. language),
- anonymous application identifier (UUID),
- cache of system and user recipes,
- recipe likes,
- saved recipe author name,
- shopping lists,
- Live session data (configuration, history within a session),
- local Premium status and thermometer trial limit.
This data remains on the device until it is deleted by the user, cleared in the application or system settings, or removed when the application is uninstalled.
3. Bluetooth and compatible thermometers
The application uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to detect, connect to and communicate with compatible Bluetooth thermometers used in Live sessions.
The following may be processed locally, among others: device name, BLE connection identifier, probe temperatures, battery level, signal strength (RSSI) and connection status.
In accordance with the current application implementation, this measurement data from the thermometer is not sent to the WędzeniePro server. It remains on the device and is used solely for the operation of the Live feature in the application.
In this application, Bluetooth is used to communicate with the thermometer, not to track the user's location.
4. Communication with the WędzeniePro server
The application connects to the WędzeniePro server (wedzeniepro-api.codeluk.dev) for purposes such as:
- downloading system recipes,
- checking Premium status linked to the device identifier,
- activating promotional codes,
- managing the free Live session limit with a thermometer,
- registering a push notification token (Android),
- uploading user-added recipes (if the user decides to save them).
The following may be sent to the server, among others: anonymous device identifier (UUID), Live session identifier, promotional code, FCM token, application language code and recipe content together with an optional author name.
5. Free limit of Live sessions with a thermometer
In the FREE version, the user may start a limited number of Live sessions with a connected Bluetooth thermometer (currently 3 sessions).
To manage this limit, the application may send to the server:
- anonymous device identifier,
- Live session identifier (when registering session usage).
The purpose is to prevent abuse of the free session limit. Probe temperatures, battery level, RSSI or other measurement data from the thermometer are not sent as part of this mechanism.
6. Premium and Google Play purchases
Premium is purchased through Google Play. Payments and payment data are handled by Google; WędzeniePro does not receive or store payment card data.
Premium status may be verified locally on the device (Google Play Billing) and on the WędzeniePro server based on the anonymous device identifier (e.g. after activating a promotional code).
Premium unlocks, among other things, unlimited Live sessions with a Bluetooth thermometer. Premium does not include the sale or delivery of a thermometer – the device must belong to the user.
7. Advertising and consent
In the FREE version, the application may display Google AdMob advertisements. Before displaying ads, the application may use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request choices regarding ad privacy.
Processing of data for advertising purposes by Google and other SDK providers takes place in accordance with their own privacy policies. The application itself does not collect the user's first name, last name or email address for advertising purposes.
8. Push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
On Android, the application may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to receive push notifications.
When registering the device for notifications, the application may send to the WędzeniePro server:
- anonymous device identifier,
- FCM token,
- application language code.
The purpose is to deliver application notifications. The current implementation registers the token on Android.
9. Recipes and user content
System recipes are downloaded from the WędzeniePro server and may be cached locally.
If the user adds their own recipe, the application may send to the server the recipe content, an optional author name and the anonymous device identifier. WędzeniePro does not require providing a real first and last name – it may be any author name chosen by the user.
10. Device permissions
The application may request permissions including:
- Bluetooth (scanning and connecting to a thermometer),
- notifications (Android 13+),
- exact alarms (reminders in a Live session),
- internet (API, advertising, notifications).
WędzeniePro does not collect or transmit user GPS/location data. On older Android versions, Bluetooth scanning may require a location permission at the system level, but the application does not use this to determine the user's location.
11. External services
The application uses, among others:
- Google Play (payments, application updates),
- Google AdMob (advertising),
- Google User Messaging Platform (advertising consent),
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications on Android).
Firebase Analytics is not used in the current version of the application.
12. Data storage and deletion
Local data remains on the user's device until it is deleted by the user, the application data is cleared or the application is uninstalled.
Data sent to the WędzeniePro server is mainly linked to the anonymous device identifier. The application does not offer a user account or a built-in mechanism for self-deleting server data. For matters related to data on the server, you can contact us at the address provided below.
13. Security
Communication with the WędzeniePro server takes place over encrypted HTTPS connections. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect transmitted data, however no method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure.
14. Children
The application is not directed at children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.
15. Changes to the privacy policy
The privacy policy may be updated as the application develops. The current version is always available in the application.

Withdrawal of advertising consent
The user may change advertising choices at any time (including withdraw consent) through the device system settings or options provided by Google UMP, if displayed.
After consent is withdrawn, the application may display non-personalised advertisements or limit advertising, in accordance with applicable regulations and device settings.
